Educational Pathway
The academic route students follow through their studies.
A’Ksent offers a structured academic progression supporting students from secondary school through international qualifications. Our pathway includes preparatory years, subject selection support and academic coaching, ensuring students maintain consistency while following a flexible learning schedule suited to athletic commitments.
- Our Methodology
A’Ksent offers international online courses, customised tutoring, structured study support and flexible learning plans tailored for competitive athletes.
Central to our methodology is the idea of a real class: a cohesive group of young athletes with similar training rhythms and competitive calendars.
Students follow a structured study cycle: they review materials before the lesson, attend a clear and focused class, and often complete assessments on the same day. This approach ensures immediate consolidation, quicker feedback and a more effective learning rhythm.
This shared environment, combined with clear teaching, recorded lessons, organised materials and continuous support from mother-tongue teachers, ensures steady and consistent academic progress.
Cambridge Assessment
A’Ksent Academy is officially recognised as a registered online Cambridge International School.
The Cambridge Pathway is at the heart of our academic offering at A’Ksent. Thanks to this internationally-recognised programme, students develop rigorous subject knowledge, critical thinking skills and a global perspective. Cambridge qualifications are accepted by universities worldwide — giving graduates the freedom to apply to top institutions in the UK, US, Europe and beyond.
The assessment criteria
At A’ksent Suisse Academy International School, assessment is an essential part of the learning process and its proper use inevitably enhances the school experience.
Various opportunities, such as internal, external, formative and summative assessments, are used to maximise teaching practices and improve student achievement. Careful management of learning assessment processes and devices is a powerful tool for inclusion and the promotion of pupils’ academic and personal success.
Given the essential role of assessment, certain expectations are demanded and assumed by those engaged in the programme. All stakeholders actively participate in the evaluation process. Internal evaluations are carried out regularly each month by the teacher and externally moderated by supervisors.
Pedagogical counselling
A’ksent Suisse Academy International School maintains constant weekly contact with absent students in order to obtain their feedback on the curriculum.
In addition, a pedagogical counselling service is available within the school, which supports all our students in finding a balance between the academic, sporting, artistic and emotional dimensions.
The focus is on providing students with special needs with access to a rich and balanced global curriculum that encourages individual abilities and is relevant to needs and interests.
